Proposal submission and decision dates are below. Please note that Wilburforce combines all grants related to specific priority regions or specific program areas into particular dockets. Use this information to help you determine the schedule that best pertains to your project.

April 2008 Docket

August 2008 Docket

• Proposal Deadline: May 23, 2008
• Decision Date: August 1, 2008
• Programs/Regions Considered: Cascadia, Coastal Temperate Rainforests, Y2Y Far North, Inland Rainforest, Salmon-Selway/Hells Canyon, Conservation Science (regional)

November 2008 Docket

• Proposal Deadline: August 29, 2008
• Decision Date: November 7, 2008
• Programs/Regions Considered: Chilcotin, Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Southwest Crescent, Transboundary Arctic, Western Arctic, Conservation Science (regional)

In some instances, grants of $25,000 or less can be submitted at any time throughout the year. Decisions regarding such grants will be made within six to eight weeks of the application’s submission. When contacting a program officer regarding the possibility of a grant, be sure to specify the dollar level of your request.

Applicants who are interested in submitting a grant proposal must contact the appropriate staff member prior to developing a proposal. Please do not submit a full proposal without first contacting a Program Officer.

Note that we do not make a copy of our Grant Application Form available on our Web site. This form will be sent to an organization after it has received approval to submit a full proposal.
